Fault Description: Coated with black ceramic layer that we used to use as shipibo.audio, a bit less resilient than the one I use now and has a warm, brown-ish hue, bunch of minor scratches and dents, other than that FULLY FUNCTIONAL.

This XL gimbals and rodblocks set for Grado has been CNC machined and hand crafted from high quality anodized aluminum.
The set comprises of two slim rodblocks and XL gimbals that improve the comfort, durability and looks of your Grado headphones greatly, while weighting only slightly more than stock plastic parts.
Rodblocks have been CNC milled from a single block of aluminum each and fitted with three pressure screws – two to control the rod movement ease and smoothness and one to keep the headband firmly in place and to prevent it from falling out.
Thanks to the pressure screws the user has complete freedom over the rod movement in their headphones. They allow precise vertical and horizontal adjustment and guarantee that once adjusted the cups will stay in the desired position, so you can say goodbye to freely rotating cups that keep on twisting the cables – with these rod blocks, cups will only rotate when and how you want them to improving headphones’ stability on your head, and thus the listening comfort greatly.
Each of gimbals have been CNC milled and fitted with two mounting screws and a carefully selected stainless steel rod tipped with an aluminum cap. Screws allow easy mounting of gimbals to the cups without a risk of scratching them, they also allow user to control the tightness of cup’s tilt. Rod, on the other hand, ensures smooth adjustment of cup’s vertical position.
Both rodblocks and gimbals have been beadblasted first and anodized to create a durable, scratch-proof black surface.
Each set comes with allen key and set of spare screws.
It is a 100% made in EU product. To ensure highest quality those parts are crafted entirely in my workshop, checked and tested for couple of days before I ship them to a lucky buyer – because of that it takes around a week for me to prepare and send them after the order is made. Please do bear in mind that even though I do our best and improve my methods and products with every batch, this is still a DIY product done in a home workshop, given that each set of parts is slightly different (almost exclusively in terms of looks) and subject to very minor imperfections (like tiny scratches or dents, mostly in hardly visible spots).
