This is not a like-for-like replacement - its stiffness makes it superior to an original Grado band, and in my experience much improves clamping force. There is nothing subtle with the improvement on sound quality, improved clamping is like night-and-day. This makes for a very significant upgrade to OEM or custom Grado headphones, and for the price Przem is charging, these bands really are a no-brainer. I'm running quite a few pairs of headphones and they're all getting a Nyczaj band.
