Nyczaj Earpads - Fine-Tuned Comfort and Sound for Grado Headphones
Introducing Nyczaj Earpads, the result of five years of dedicated development and countless experiments, designed to elevate your Grado listening experience. These earpads, made from open cell memory foam and covered with acoustically transparent fabric, are not just comfortable but also enrich the signature Grado house sound.
Optimized Acoustics and Comfort:
- Sound Profile: Carefully engineered to offer a hybrid the Grado L-cush and G-cush sound, these earpads feature a slight enhancement in the lows (between 1 and 2 dB from around 80 Hz to around 250 Hz) and a balanced dip in the mids (between 3 and 4 dB from around 2 kHz to around 3.5 kHz), maintaining the renowned Grado sound signature while adding richness and depth.
- Blend of Performance and Superior Comfort: The use of thick open cell PU memory foam and larger dimensions than standard L-cush pads allows these earpads to rest more on the head than the ears, significantly improving comfort. Delicate, acoustically transparent fabric doesn't block airflow, offering a very natural sound, significantly more crisp and clear compared to the other fabric and leather earpads available on the market.
Compatibility: Designed to fit almost all Grado headphones and a wide range of custom wooden cups for Grado mods, these earpads offer a versatile upgrade option. Full list of supported models is available to the side of this description. Please note that they are not compatible with Grado GW100.
Local and Authentic Craftsmanship: Every pair of Nyczaj Earpads is made entirely by hand in my workshop, I use locally sourced materials to ensure each pair is a 100% "made in EU" product.

Since Nyczaj is a one man operation, my shipping policy is slightly different to regular online stores. I perform a lot of work on our products after the order is placed – I either make them to order completely from scratch, assemble them, finish them off or quality test them. Because of that it can take us up to 2-3 weeks after the order is placed to ship it.
In addition to registered mail shipping I also offer express shipping to most of the countries. If you live outside Europe, I recommend choosing express shipping as it is much faster and more reliable than mail.

Nyczaj won’t consider any parcels lost until it is officially confirmed either by Poczta Polska or a postal service in the destination country, and thus won’t resend or refund any orders before that.

Thank you very much, Przemyslaw for his work and inspiration. It seemed to me that I now have different (better) headphones. Comfort is the first thing that strikes you. But the main thing is the sound. He became even closer, more intimate and focused. I don't think I lost anything at all by replacing the L-cush with these ear cushions. I also liked that the material (textile) used in this product will be easy to clean or even wash. For me, as a cleaner, this is very important.
Can finally stand to have my grados on my head for longer than an album. Huge upgrade
Got these short time after I received my RS-2X and I must say on first try they sounded a bit dull. Now after my headphones are well played in, and also my HiFi - Soekris 2541 and the Fezz Audio Headphone Amp which is also from Poland - I put them on again and I must say the turn my rs2x into a whole other level of headphone. More complete with bass extension, very musical, not sharp but still sharp enough. Now I do wonder how they might work with the GX3000X.
Recently received these amazing pads. Using them on my PS500e. They're extremely comfortable and compliments the sound. Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for new pads.
I use headphones Grado sr225e. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I tried all Grado pads: L (original, very uncomfortable), F (new series x, didn't like the sound and only a little more comfortable than L), S (comfortable, but sounds muffled) and G (good comfort, but sounds too strange.). I can say with confidence that these cushions are the best, very comfortable and I like the sound of the headphones even more now.
